L-Sodium Lactate is a chemical substance naturally formed during the fermentation of lactic acid bacteria. It is a colorless or slightly yellow transparent syrupy liquid, which has a strong ability to absorb water. L-Sodium Lactate can be mixed with water, ethanol and glycerin.

Application

In food industry, L-Sodium Lactate is used for food preservation, moisturizing, flavor-increasing and pharmaceutical raw materials. L-Sodium Lactate is also used as a condiment, casein plastics plasticizers, antifreeze agents, humectants, glycerin substitutes, alcohol antifreeze corrosion inhibitors.

It can also be used as medicine to relieve acidosis caused by diarrhea, dehydration, diabetes, nephritis and other symptoms.

Storage
